Here are some tips to make your design a success

Do not make the font of your text too small and use easy-to-read fonts

First test with a printout on your own printer and check carefully for spelling errors

Do your readers know this is a plantable card? Add planting instructions (see downloadable icons below) or a small text

Avoid large full areas - these cover up the natural character of the paper and increase the likelihood of streaks

Keep in mind that the colour of the paper is off-white - so avoid text and images in light yellow or other light colours

Make sure your print file:
1. is large enough: best high-quality PDF or JPEG of 300dpi)
2. the correct format is e.g. A6 (148x105 mm)

Try not to put text too close to the edge, so leave a margin of 3-5 mm. We work with natural paper where a small deviation is always possible.

Please note, we can also print bleed in most cases. Contact us for this if you wish to do so.

Working on a design yourself?

Are you creative and want to get started yourself? Programmes such as Illustrator, Photoshop or similar will certainly get you started. These require some previous knowledge, but give excellent results

Tip: be sure to check out Canva.com, a user-friendly online programme that also has a free starter programme
