General terms of use

What do you need to know when using this site and our services? Briefly and in simple human language, we follow some simple principles:

  • good agreements make good friends
  • we use the data like a good father
  • is there something not clear, you have a question or a complaint: do not hesitate to contact us, and we will try to find a solution as soon as possible

Here are our terms of use around shipping, privacy and the use of this site.

Shipments

When ordering, you can also choose between the standard delivery period or for a faster service via e.g. Bpost24h (or Bpost WorldPack)

For Belgium:

  • Standard shipping method: €5.95, and free for orders over €100
  • Accelerated procedure: €9.95

For the Netherlands and Luxembourg:

  • Standard shipping: €8.95, and free for orders over €150
  • Accelerated procedure: €12.50

For Germany and France:

  • Shipping method Bpost Worldpack: €12.50, and free for orders over €150

You can also pick up for free at our offices in 9070 Heusden (by appointment only)

Return Policy

nce there is a consumer purchase, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act (Article 7:5 BW), the buyer has the right to return (part of) the delivered goods within a period of 7 working days without giving a reason. This period begins when the ordered items are delivered. If after this period the buyer has not returned the delivered goods to CrissCrossing B.V., the sale is a fact. The buyer is obliged, before proceeding to return, to notify CrissCrossing B.V. in writing within the period of 7 working days after delivery. The buyer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned in a timely manner, for example by means of proof of postal delivery. Items must be returned in their original packaging (including accessories and accompanying documentation) and in new condition. If the goods have been used, encumbered or damaged in any way at the buyer’s premises, the right to rescission within the meaning of this paragraph shall lapse. Subject to what is provided in the previous sentence, CrissCrossing B.V will ensure that within 30 days of proper receipt of the return, the full purchase amount including the calculated shipping costs will be refunded to the buyer. The return of the delivered goods is entirely at the expense and risk of the buyer. The right of dissolution, as described in the previous paragraph, relates only to the goods delivered and will in no case relate to services, such as telephone subscriptions of the (mobile) network operators offered by CrissCrossing B.V. The latter services, in which CrissCrossing B.V. acts merely as an intermediary or agent, will be subject to the general terms and conditions of said network operators.

IMPORTANT! The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

goods made to the consumer’s specifications, e.g. customization, or of a clearly personal nature services the performance of which, with the consumer’s consent, has begun before the deadline of seven working days for goods or services which, by their nature, cannot be returned, e.g. for reasons of hygiene or which spoil or age quickly

What do we do with your data?
We never pass on personal data to third parties if it is not used for practical purposes, such as home deliveries.

How do we obtain data?
By the data from your account (name, address, purchases, …) by the cookies in your browser by your surfing behavior on our site

What do we use your data for?
To arrange practical, operational matters such as a delivery to build profiles of visitors on our media (site, social media)

What do we mean by “profiles” and what do we do with them?
One of our goals is to learn to understand who is interested in what topics and product groups. This allows us to find out what is going on among consumers and how to tailor our offerings accordingly. We never go down to the individual level here; this would be unfeasible and impractical for our small team. We do try to make certain target groups or segments. These may be urbanites interested in sustainability, women between 25-45 or active tinkerers. This is what we call profiles.

What if you don’t want your data to be used?
There are two types of data: operational account data and browsing behavior (via cookies) If you want your account data removed, send an email to info@growingcards.be titled “Remove Data. We will then send back an email asking you to confirm the deletion of your data. We do this to avoid any misunderstandings. Upon confirmation, we will then proceed to delete the data in our active customer database. If you don’t want to be tracked, disable your cookies in your browser and surf via an incognito tab. Then cookies are not tracked.
